I Choose Light because...
Light can evoke people’s emotions and change their experiences. Studying scenography attracted me to how
light defines space. After working with stage lighting, I became fascinated by lighting in real world
environments. I saw that lighting makes a space more dramatic and enriches the space. I want to apply this
kind of lighting for the built environment to excite and in?uence people. I think lighting design is for creating
better experiences and can help people to become immersed in a space.
