Noemi Barbero is co-founder of Madrid-based Barbero Lighting (VBNB), a studio focused on illuminating cultural heritage. Her journey began in 2005 under the mentorship of her father, Víctor Barbero. Together, they’ve lit some of the world’s most iconic UNESCO sites, including Egypt’s temples and Spain’s historic landmarks. Since 2010, she has led the Ancient Egypt Lighting Masterplan, illuminating sites like the Pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings. In Spain, her work includes the Royal Monastery of El Escorial and cities like Salamanca and Toledo. Noemi also speaks at global events and coordinates IALD Spain.
