Giuseppe Simone is the founder of Antumbra Lighting Design, an independent consultancy with offices in Melbourne and Dublin. With a Master’s in Lighting Design & LED Technology from Milan, he began his career exploring how light shapes mood and architecture. He has worked with leading architects and studios like John Pawson, Joyce Wang, and Zaha Hadid Architects. Specializing in hospitality, Giuseppe has designed lighting for brands such as Edition Hotels, W Hotels, and Nobu. His approach focuses on integrating light with architecture to create atmosphere, depth, and character—treating lighting as a central element in every spatial narrative.
