Carla Wilkins is the President-Elect of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and a Certified Lighting Designer (CLD). Based in Berlin, she has over 35 years of experience in architectural lighting design and a background in architecture. In 1997, she co-founded Lichtvision, where she now serves as Global Creative Director. Her work spans master planning, high-rises, memorials, art installations, and large-scale commercial and residential projects. Widely published and internationally respected, she frequently lectures on lighting design and the evolving role of light in shaping visual experiences.
